My Taos Studio Today - Works in Progress

28 April 2018 - From my Taos Studio - The frame came in for my new painting (yet to be completed) - LATE SUMMER STORM AT ALCALDE - 30"x40". Hoping to complete it sometime this coming week. After this I will begin to face a few new blank canvases - always an exciting time. Thanks to my road trips with Doug and Seamus I don't have to wrack my brain about what to paint next - I have about six months of new source material, perhaps more! This has been a great day - organic strawberries, a new beautiful flower pot for geraniums for the front porch - and this frame is absolutely perfect for this painting. The best news of all - big winds today - the clouds are gathering - feels like a wonderful afternoon storm - life is full - time for a nap!! Yes, Hug an artist today!
