3/11/13 Color Notes: RANCHITOS PASTORAL, 24"x30" Original Oil on Belgian Linen - Sky: The sky usually lightens at the horizon and deepens from middle to top. Light: Cerulean Blue, Titanium White, Yellow Ochre. Deeper colors - Indanthrone Blue, Thalo Blue and Thalo Green mixed with lighter combination. Tree: Dark Shadows: Prussian Blue, Burnt Sienna and Aliz. Crimson. Lighter foliage: Chrome Oxide Green Opaque and Cadmium Yellow - this is a middle tone. Foreground: Italian Pink and Burnt Sienna.
