GESSOING -- PREPARING THE CANVASES TO PAINTIn the studio - getting ready for some winter work -- Mix gesso (usually acrylic) with Payne's Gray acrylic paint - thin with water to a consistency that will not leave heavy brushstrokes on the canvases -- let dry for a few days before applying paint.
